I must agree with your review here Claire. I am a massive fan of Alexisonfire but it wasn't until the last album where I really noticed that Wade actually sang some parts on the songs. I found the album to be very samey and the lyrical content to be very literal and childish (for wan of a better term). It just shows that someone that does such great things in a band won't necessarily do great things in another band.
