THE PRODIGY INVADE NEW YORK CITY THIS THURSDAY
The Prodigy, whose fifth studio album ‘Invaders Must Die’ entered the UK Album chart straight at #1 selling over 100,000 copies in its first week, marking the biggest and fastest selling UK release this year, #1 on the European Album Charts, #3 on the US Billboard Indie Sales charts will play Roseland Ballroom this Thursday before heading off to Miami to headline the Ultra Music Festival.
Expect to hear all time classics such as Voodoo People, Smack My Bitch Up, and new soon to be classics Omen, Run With The Wolves and Warrior's Dance. "Invaders Must Die is a stirringly workmanlike, if retro, blast of founder/producer Liam Howlett's anthemic breakbeat spazz. The deft drum programming and piercing synths of "Omen" (with Flint and Maxim back on mic) create the sort of gut-punching delirium that Justice could pull off if they weren't too busy smoking Gauloises by the infinity pool" **** 4 Stars
- Spin Magazine, Charles Aaron
"Invaders Must Die is the sound of a band firing on all cylinders - a potent, often cinematic blend of samples and body-quaking organic instrumentation" - NYLON
"Best known here as the shock troops of the late ’90s electronica revolution that never was, the Prodigy made their bones five years earlier as the breakout stars of London’s illegal rave scene. If anyone has the right to reboot the manic keyboard riffs and overheated breakbeats of the era, it’s them." - Blender
"Remember the mid- to late-90s, when slightly naïve and overexcited journalists were swarming to crown “Big Beat” the Next. Huge! Genre!! and acts like The Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim were treated like gods? Those days seem far away now, but The Prodigy, now consisting of Liam Howlett, Keith Flint, and Maxim, continue to release their unique brand of uptempo, hyperactive dance music." - MetroMix
"Invaders Must Die, sees it back in rabid, snarling form. This could be the only show you'll see in a while that calls for both dancing shoes and riot gear." - Flavorpill North American Tour Dates

March 26 - Roseland - New York, NY
March 28 - Headlining Ultra Festival WMC - Miami, Florida

Take Me To The Hospital/Cooking Vinyl "serving up a thrill ride of breakbeat techno and crushing metal guitar" **** 4 Stars
- Details Magazine, Matt Hendrickson
'Invaders Must Die', captures much of the classic Prodigy aggression while giving it some modern tweaks. There are elements of drum'n'bass, electro, big beat, breaks, techno, and early 'rave' mixed in with the heavier industrial and punk elements that sum up to make the trademark Prodigy sound. - Groove Effect
"Invaders is 40 minutes of rhythms that leave you as disoriented as a night on the pipe, and its keyboard and guitar riffs that take substantial liberties with the dictates of music composition still manage to feel so, so right."
- Filter Magazine "The biggest-selling act in dance-music history rages harder than virtually any guitar band you can name these days."
-Time Out Chicago
"Science fiction techno rock from England that’s sure to provoke riots on the dance floor. Music doesn’t get more direct, or the message any clearer, than this. Liam Howlett pushes mosh pit music to the max." - Metro News
All the grinding square-waves distorted to resemble metal guitars (“Run With the Wolves”) and squealing high-pitched video game synths (“Colours”) dance together so harmoniously that you may just delude yourself into believing the band’s capricious back catalogue was a straight arrow in perfect keeping with the futurism of the hardcore continuum. - Pop Matters
"thank heavens: the breakbeats of "Omen" plow like the big beat of old instead of colliding a la early jungle, but there's no mistaking which side of the breakbeat line-in-the-sand that meathead-on-E neon-glow riff, and low end to match, belongs. Even better, "Warrior's Dance" throws in a shrieking diva vocal and r-r-r-rolls the beats. Even if you have something against the retrograde, it's hard to argue when it's done this gleefully." - Resident Advisor The Prodigy on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads YouTube - ProdigyChannel's Channel
