Jackson dinky...yummy. Recently built myself a guitar based on the Tom DeLonge strat (1 h/b, 1 vol) design. sounds great for blues and SRV stuff. Anyone built/modified one of their guitars?

Yeah man, I had a guitar that I had before that I covered completely in blue fur. (The band I was in at the time was named bluefur). Used it on a music video we had made for an old HTV show "The Electric Chair". The guitar looked fucking awesome, even used it for gigging and shit. Not quite modifying it like your talking, but it's modifying none the less.

haha thats focking class man! haha. I havent really tried modifying much really, exept for my ol'e squier, just fitted an ibanez S1 pickup on the bridge, thats about it. Sounds just as shite.

Thats cause Squiers are shit!! I've owned a few in my lifetime and still own a squier bass. They're so shit it's unbelievable. The only way I think you could make it good would be to replace all the wood, electrics, strings, pickups, bridge, and every other part of it. LMAO.

Gutting that you snapped your Jackson head while playing a gig. Sounds like you need to speak to your folks about buying you a new one !

Does your Jackson have a bolt on neck? you could just by a new neck if that's the case...

yeh it is, but im not buying a new neck as it will fuck up everything haha. im having the head rebuilt or summit and stuck together with graphite :-S...basically, smart guitar guy fixed guitar well good. but for £100-£150. shit. nevermind.

The only thing squiers are good for is if you are in a band that likes to trash their instruments at the end. Just b4 the last song, plug in your squier and have 100% pleasure in smashing the piece of shit into 9 million pieces. You should do that with your squier one night while playing with Final-Fight, make the crowd go nuts!!! And... you finally get to get rid of your squier .
