Altsounds - Singer Needed

The other band I'm in needs a singer. We are looking for someone that can do all the growling/evil/heavy stuff but can be melodic at times. The music I would desctibe as.... heavy, with a bit of cheese thrown in and some random world music sections. Mike - the drummer - thinks we sound like Sikth. But I think we sound very different. Anyway it's quite dark and technical.

The singer must be able to word with two other vocalists on backing vocals - myself and the lovely Laura - and be prepared to write lyrics to difficult sections. The band are influenced by very different genres of music - so your influences do not matter as long as you like what we are trying to do. Some lyrics are wrote - but we encourage lyric writing and if you play and instrument too and have wrote a cool riff feel free to bring it along. PA is a bonus...

Speaking for myself - not on the behalf of the band - I would like someone with very "metal" vocals - as long as you can sing melodically too (thats what went wrong with the previous vocalist - he could only do "Dani Filth" style vocals and nothing else) I personally really like the madcap style vocals of the Sikth person and even Serj (even though we sound nothing like SOAD - more like Serart in places lol....)

General influences range from Pantera to Depeche Mode, Pain of Salvation to Astroid Power Up.
