Re: Bleed Electric Audio and Video Remix Contest Who from Altsounds is gonna give this remix contest a go? |
Re: Bleed Electric Audio and Video Remix Contest I have nothing to remix it with I'm afraid. |
Re: Bleed Electric Audio and Video Remix Contest You can download the free Acid Xpress software and get going on it! No excuses :D |
Re: Bleed Electric Audio and Video Remix Contest Ooh nice. |
Re: Bleed Electric Audio and Video Remix Contest I am sure this is a stupid question but where do you get the actual track from? |
Re: Bleed Electric Audio and Video Remix Contest Acidplanet.com/bleedelectric there you can download the physical studio multitracks to use as you want to create a remix. You can also listen to a really funny "radio" edit word of the song with all the words like fuck and shit blanked out. It's only when you listen like that I realize how many swear words we have in a song! It's funny how they thought the line "Pull out my gun and tell my buddies, i'm gonna murder them" is allowed to stay though. Haha |
Re: Bleed Electric Audio and Video Remix Contest Yeah I have the multitracks but I thought it would be easier to start with the full track and edit it from there. I have never remixed before so I am guessing this is not the right way to approach it? |
Re: Bleed Electric Audio and Video Remix Contest When I first started mixing I actually never started by listening to the original. The direction of the completed track can potentially taint you into doing something a certain way. I would say listen through the multitracks until there is something you like and start with that. Then put the next thing in you like. You can also inerject whatever you want from wherever else to it too. The idea here is to make this sound like something you want to hear. |
