Pendulum and The Prodigy have a new love child and its name is Noise Control. This boundary breaking Dublin-based band fuses the world of rock and dance to incendiary proportions. The band's current single, the double A-side Cities of Dreams/Mudbath features on the soundtrack for the critically acclaimed Pure,Disney Interactive Studio's latest action packed off road trick racing video game.
Cities of Dreams is an adrenaline-fuelled atom bomb of crossover drum-and-bass that bleeds with rip-roaring industrial riffs whilst fan favourite homage Mudbath is every bit the dirty guitar track that its title alludes to.
Tipped for the top, the band look set to capitalise on previous support slots with some of the worlds' most innovative pioneers of the dance rock genre. Liam Howlett personally selected them to support The Prodigy's Their Law tour, and they have also opened for Underworld, Mylo and Asian Dub Foundation.
The band recently popped into MUZU TV's Dublin studio for an exclusive interview, which can be viewed along with videos for Cities Of Dreams, Steel, Solar Star and We Like Music for free on their MUZU TV channel at www.muzu.tv/noisecontrol.
