Crash Kings are an awesome new LA based band and we are lucky enough to have some awesome prizing to giveaway to one lucky US reader. Entry is simple just reply to the poll above confirming that you are a US resident, you must also be an Altsounds member so that your entry can be tracked. Contest ends 13th September 2009 when the one lucky winner will be informed.
One US Winner Will receive: LA based trio, Crash Kings, are putting their own unique spin on the three-man-band concept. Fusing keyboard-born compositions with agressive layers of rock, their crafty tunes are accomplished without the hint of a guitar. Incorporating a clavinet (a keyboard with guitar strings) outfitted through a distortion pedal, the result is an arsenal of innovative and rich sound.
With their self-titled debut now available courtesy of Linda Perry's Custard Records, the brothers Beliveau (Tom on vocals/keyboard and Mike on bass) and drummer Jason Morris, will be taking their brand of high energy, hook-laden rock on the road this entire Summer, with an opening slot on Mason Jennings' September tour.
