Can anyone put on a gig? With just £100? The Observer Magazine decided to find out and, to make it harder, they gave the job to a writer with no knowledge of the indie scene!
Selecting Proud Camden as the venue for the night, and with only a clutch of £20 pound notes to work with, we have managed to secure an exclusive gig with The Mystery Jets, on Wednesday 23rd May. With support from the divine Karima Francis and, rising star of the singer-songwriting scene, Benedict, Proud Camden is all set for a unique evening of acoustic bliss.
With DJ sets from Noise Kitten, voted Best Newcomer at the 2012 Panic Music Awards, this is set to be a stomping Wednesday night at Proud Camden. Tickets are under £10 and available from View tickets
How would you like to get your hands on a signed copy of the latest album from the Mystery Jets? Well, Proud Camden have managed to get their hands on a copy and are offering our fantastic AltSounds readers the chance of owning this 'money can't buy' album. Radlands was released April 30th via Rough Trade Records. The album was recorded in Austin, Texas and Streatham, London and was co-produced by Mystery Jets and Dan Carey (Hot Chip, Franz Ferdinand, Emiliana Torrini).
