The musically talented Brooklyn born popstar Julian Velard is turning teacher for a day, as he offers fans the unique opportunity to win an hour long one-to–one piano tutorial with him. You’ll be in very safe hands with Julian, as he was trained at La Guardia High School (the performing arts school that cult movie FAME was based on) although we can’t promise he’ll be wearing leg warmers and a leotard! So if you’re handy with a piano (playing it, rather than moving it) and fancy the opportunity to improve your skills and impress your mates with a world class rendition of chopsticks, why not check out the competition page at http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=4625513578 Here’s how to enter: - Grab a video camera / camera phone / anything you fancy
- Video yourself playing something on the piano (a keyboard or similar will do)
- Upload it onto Julian’s Bebo page (above) by clicking the cunningly-titled ‘Upload A Video’ button in the competition area
- While the video is being queued for Julian to take a look at and review, proudly reflect on your efforts
- Check out the winning video on Julian’s profile very soon.
You can play any song at all in your video, so get playing and get uploading… And good luck! Julian’s debut single ‘Jimmy Dean and Steve McQueen’ is out on download now and on physical release from 16th June. |
