October Sky hve recently just released their debut album "Hell Isn't My Home" and their first single from that record "HIt The Ground" debuted at #4 on MusiquePlus. With a massive Canadian Tour currently happening for them there appears to be no stopping October Sky fromquickly propelling into the spotlight. Altsounds caught up with October Sky bass player Andrew Walker to find out what truly floats his boat in the first of the Altsounds "Inspire Me" series.

HMV Canada music store. It usually has pretty much everything.
What book would you recommend that anyone go out and read?
It has been a while since any of us have actually read a book, but Andrew recommends Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, a classic.
Last amazing movie you watched?
The Dark Knight and Into the Wild
Best concert you attended over the last year and what made it the best?
Linkin Park. The energy, the overall quality, the lights and sound, and the performance were all incredible.
Number one moment of the past year?
Every time we're playing together on stage
Proudest purchase from the last year?
Andrew's MESA 400+ bass amplifier and Powerhouse 610 speaker cabinet: ultimate power. And an all-in-one laser printer, scanner, fax and copier. That thing is brilliant.
Best venue to play music in -and- best venue to watch live music in?
Almost any outdoor stage triumphs over any indoor stage, except in the winter for obvious reasons!
