 Altsounds: Explain your band name
Houston Calls: It really has no meaning. It came from putting words together on the back of an Apollo 13 DVD.
Altsounds: For someone who doesn't know who you guys are describe your sound in 3 words
Houston Calls: Power, Slob, Grunge
Altsounds: I can play the saw. Do you play any obscure instruments?
Houston Calls: No, I wish i did though!
Altsounds: What do you enjoy most about touring in the UK?
Houston Calls: The kids hang out a lot in the UK post shows. Everyone is really into it and not as concerned with bright colors.
Altsounds: Have you picked up any slang you really like to use when over here?
Houston Calls: Instead of very good i like "well good." Mate, Cheers, cor blimey, stuff like that is classic and awesome.
Altsounds: Do you think you bring something different to the pop-punk table compared to most other bands?
Houston Calls: Yeah we have an asian AND an african american in our band. how's that for diversity. Plus we bring a different attitude that most people don't possess anymore.
Altsounds: Are there any on tour rituals like not shaving for the entire tour etc?
Houston Calls: Jarrett attempted to eat kebabs everyday on our last tour in the UK.
Altsounds: If you could be in any other band which would it be?
Houston Calls: Green Day
Altsounds: What was on your Ipod before you turned it off?

Houston Calls: Tons of touring to spread the word about the new album. We can't wait! See you all in the UK!
