Third week already. Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun, eh? After the likes of The Blackout and Thin Lizzy, I thought I’d stay vaguely British and head on with one of the biggest bands in the UK at the moment: Kasabian. Hailing from Leicester, I first heard them on Fifa ‘04, I believe it was, with ”Club Foot”, as far as my memory can stretch. Since then, they have come on leaps and bounds, with their quality songs and memorable live shows. Let’s take a gander at three of the best tracks Kasabian have to offer.
We’re going to start at their second album, Empire, and the emphatically fantasmical Shoot the Runner'.
Pretty much one of the wickedest songs ever, right?! Damn straight. Let us press on. Although, saying that, this whole album is totally bitchin’.

I think you can guess the next song, Kasabian absolutely bombed it to the big time with their tune of the year in the form of 'Fire. Go on, you can sing along and all.
Now, we’re going to end with a song off their latest album from last year, Velociraptor!, and the stunning 'Days Are Forgotten', a track that sums up Kasabian in one swift swoop.
Now you’ve heard it all. Well not all, just three tracks from Kasabian. But now you can go on and discover everything about one of Britain’s finest musical exports. Oh, and be sure to check them out at Reading and Leeds this year, as they headline!
