Last week we gave you Eamon. Now our one hit wonder for this week is Frankee, Eamon’s alleged ex-girlfriend and the subject of his controversial hit 'F**K it (I don’t want you back).'
Frankee’s one and only hit to date FURB or 'F**K You Right Back' was released in 2004 as an answer back to Eamon. The track reached number one in the UK knocking Eamon off the top spot, where it stayed for three weeks and also hit the top spot in Australia. It was later revealed that Frankee was not Eamon’s ex and that the two had never met and by releasing the track Frankee made Eamon thousands of dollars in royalties.
After the initial buzz around the novelty track, Frankee failed to keep the momentum going. Her second single 'How You Do' failed to chart anywhere. Her debut album ‘The Good The Bad And The Ugly’ so called because it ‘explores the full spectrum of relationships’, was also a commercial failure.
After parting ways with her record label Marro in 2006 she quickly signed with Big Entertainment records to start work on new material. A single 'Watch Me' was released as a digital download but again this failed to make any impact anywhere and Frankee was promptly dropped from Big Entertainment never to be heard from musically again.
