Spotifried # 18 - My Morning Journey #10

As I ride from train to train and walk these New York Streets this is my soundtrack

It's been a while since I did a My Morning Journey version of Spotifried. Mainly because I stopped doing morning journey's for a while due to resigning from my job and going freelance. Since then I have been freelancing for one client full time, which, has become to the point of me needing to go in to their office each day. As such, my morning journey's have recommenced!

So this morning I needed to be in a 9 am. I was tired, hung-over and to the wire of whether or not I would make the 8:30 train or not. If I miss that train I will not make it to the offices by 9am. The past few weeks I have found myself listening to my Spotifried playlists in the morning, in particular, Under The Influence #1 seems to rear it's head most mornings. And here is where Spotify sucks and MOG rules! As I was rushing to the train I tried to start listening to Spotify but it had done the annoying thing of logging me out, which it seems to do once a day or so on my phone. Now what is most annoying of all is that you need a network connection to be able to login which, when you're on the New York City subway you don't have the pleasure of. So all of a sudden, all of the offline songs you have on your phone from Spotify become useless because it won't let you in to the app that it chose to log you out of in the first place! So I opened up MOG instead and voila no problems at all! Still logged in, no network connection needed and a few thousand offline songs at my fingertips!! Secondly, MOG has a better catalogue than Spotify. Two examples of which appear in today's Spotifried feature. I put 'How Do You Sleep' by John Lennon and 'The Great Gig in The Sky' by Pink Floyd on the playlist, both of which are available on MOG but are NOT available on Spotify, as such, those songs have been replaced by the best cover versions I could find on Spotify because the playlist vibe was just not the same without them!

Anyway, rant over. Thanks to paying for both subscription services I was able to listen to music even with no network connection as I rode the subway cars to work. I made it in to work by 8:55am so this playlist is a homeage to hangovers and making it to work on time by the skin of your subway seat!
