Progressing towards the end of the festival season is always a sad one. It marks the end of the official ‘Summer’. The end of the lazy days in the sun, the lunchtime beers in the beergarden and fundamentally the ability to wear shorts. As much as this has been possible in the UK, as we’ve probably had the worst weather in history for the summertime. But we’re not here to talk about weather, as much as us boring buggers in the UK love talking about it - what a waste of typing.
So, pretty much the biggest and most hyped music festival (most likely the one with all the money) in the UK is Reading & Leeds Festival. The line-up is always completely stacked with different artists, all worth listening to live.
Having discussed with the AltSounds Staff which bands we should be checking out, we came up with such a huge list. So, we thought the best thing to do would be to break down each stages with bands we’ve voted for, starting with the smallest stage. Check these out on our recommendation and report back once you've seen them in the flesh.
Bands are in no order of amazingness or time, or priority. Just see the name and check them out, ok?
