This is the Video of the Day, although it was a tie between this and Tune of the Day, as 'Cough Cough' is a brilliant track, but unfortunately, Ffion Davies jumped in early and god there first with her Tune of the Day. Luckily, the video is as a good as the track. I'm talking to much on the intro to this. Down to the facts...
The follow up album to 2010'’s critically acclaimed debut, ‘Man Alive’ was a beast of a record. After a deluge of 4 and 5 star reviews for their debut album, ‘Man Alive’ went on to win the coveted South Bank Times Breakthrough Award and was shortlisted for The Guardian’s First Album Award in early 2011. Everything Everthing's songwriting skills were also recognized at the 2011 Ivor Novello’s, swiftly followed by a Barclaycard Mercury Prize nomination in the same year.
Now back with a new record Arc, set for release on January 14, 2013 on RCA Victor, and returning to Man Alive producer David Kosten to work on the new record, 2013 is looking to be another successful year for the four-piece art-rockers. Teasing us into the new material, they have released the first single 'Cough Cough' and a fast-pace, striking visual video for it. Singer/guitarist Jonathan Higgs said: The video clicks through snaps shots of the band bashing some huge drums and dark, greasy, sweaty scenes in slow-motion. As well as what looks like short clips from the London Riots earlier this year and a hell of alot of fire. Watch the video for Everything Everything's single 'Cough Cough' below:

"Cough Cough is about the power of money and the desire to get away from it. It's also about waking up and seeing the world as an unfair place and then slipping back under the spell of greed. It's about having no money, and wanting more money, and wanting nothing to do with money at all."
