Jersey boys Case Closed are back on the indie-pop scene and prepping to release their new EP Basements, expected early this Spring. The guys have been working round-the-clock in the studio with Jersey pop-punk legend, Jesse Cannon (Saves The Day, Say Anything), who also produced their debut album Clouds in early 2011.
After almost 2 years of touring and writing, Case Closed reminisced on their early high school days as a band to draw inspiration for ‘Junior Year,’ the first single from the new EP. With rock influences including Manchester Orchestra, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, and The Early November, Case Closed looks to pave the way for a new hybrid of indie-rock and pop-punk, and it all starts in ‘Junior Year.’
