Brand New Machine's highly anticipated debut album, "The Devil Made Me Do It", is unapologetic raw rock 'n' roll with soaring melodies that hooks in listeners in the vein of group's like Motley Crue, Buckcherry and Guns N' Roses. The album's lead single celebrates the sins of the flesh in the lead single "Girls Like You" in a song that will surely be celebrated by strippers across the country. Brand New Machine's versatile style isn't limited to simply being the life of the party, as vocalist Brantly Thompson gives listeners his take on the celebrity obsessed pop-culture that puts the likes of Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian on a pedestal in "Here And Gone Today". The band then shifts gears to do some introspective soul searching in "Living for Another Day".

"Rock is not dead. It cannot and will not ever die. It always grows and evolves," says Brand New Machine vocalist Brantly Thompson. "With so much music at everyone's finger tips, rock music is going to continue to branch and widen its footprint in different styles but will always be there for the fans. Now with the completion of our debut album 'The Devil Made Me Do It' we can't wait to pen our own chapter and leave a unique scar on the cover of rock 'n' roll's autobiography."

"The Devil Made Me Do It" was recorded at Validus Recording Studios in Los Angeles, CA under the watchful eye of producer/mixer Ryan Greene (Alice Cooper, Cheap Trick), who helped the band deliver the raw rock sound they were looking for.

In celebration of today's release of "The Devil Made Me Do It" we are lucky enough to have the premier stream of one of the album tracks from "The Devil Made Me Do It" titled "Dust The Sky". We also sat down with Brand New Machine's vocalist Brantly Thompson about the new album. AltSounds: Hey dude, how’s it going?
Brantly Thompson: I'm doing great man, thanks for asking! We've been extremely busy getting everything set to go for the release of the new album "The Devil Made Me Do It". It will hit stores and iTunes on July 23rd (today).

AltSounds: How did the song "Dust The Sky" come about and what inspired the track?
Brantly Thompson: It was actually one of the last songs written for the record. Our guitar player, Michael Thomas came up with that killer guitar hook. I remember writing and re-writing the lyrics for a couple of weeks to really capture the message I was trying to get across and to do the music some justice.

AltSounds: What was it like working with producer/mixer Ryan Greene (Alice Cooper, Cheap Trick)?
Brantly Thompson: Ryan was amazing to work with. When we were talking to various producers before we started the record, he was the one guy that really stood up and got it.

AltSounds: Tell us a bit about your new album "The Devil Made Me Do It", what direction is the music headed and what can we expect to hear from it?
Brantly Thompson: It's a "have a good time record"...we really brought a culmination of our influences together on this one, but without making it sound too classic. The album as a whole has that swagger that you'd really expect from a rock record.

AltSounds: Is rock n' roll dead?
Brantly Thompson: Never...Rock is not dead. It cannot and will not ever die. It always grows and evolves. With so much music at everyone's finger tips, rock music is going to continue to branch and widen its footprint in different styles but will always be there for the fans. Now with the completion of our debut album 'The Devil Made Me Do It' we can't wait to pen our own chapter and leave a unique scar on the cover of rock 'n' roll's autobiography.

AltSounds: Any lasting words you want to leave with us?
Brantly Thompson: Again, the new album "The Devil Made Me Do It" arrives today. Check us out on Facebook and at www.brandnewmachine.net. See you out on the road!

AltSounds: Thanks so much dude!
Brantly Thompson: Thank you man!
