New look front page

For a while I have been thinking of a new front page layout and last night I put it into action. I wanna know what you all think. Do you love it. Do you hate it?

Everything is still there but in a different way. Have a look at it and let me know your thoughts as I want to make sure everyone loves it before we keep it permanently.

Hmmm not so keen on it at the moment, everything seems a little cramped down the side and the main body of the page just seems to take up far too much space, each article has too much room - I mean some of the news that go's up might not even be that long.

I'd much prefer having each column a bit more expanded, look at the Dameon of Aranda piece it's taking up a ton of room and has so much space in it.

Maybe it'll grow on me but for now I'm a bit wary of it.

Abit crammed and everything is abit big. I'm a simplicity man myself. I like the idea of the news being like a list of headlines though.

What you guys reckon of it to this point?? LIking the colur coded stuff and the way I have broken it down into The Showcase and The Wire? Working on discussion now and will be done.

I prefer the old look on first reaction, gotta be honest. I prefered it all in more precise sections (that's just the highly organised side to me) I will probably need a little longer to fully decide though.

Did you know that anyone can see the discussion? (chatter)

I am assuming that's a mistake because if it's purposeful then it's a really bad idea in my opinion, and you never come up with really bad ideas

the only other thing i can think of is to have dates on the chatter/discussion stuff like before so you can see when someone last posted etc.
