Anyone experience trouble when uploading an avatar?

I have tried allllll sizes under the sun, 170 is the max and 145kb or something.

Tried them all, but they still pixellate.

Any help?

Lina i have noticed that yours is slighly pixelated.

Yeh this one is fine, I'm trying to upload a new one, go to myspace and i want to put the photo up i have there. I tried it using the .gif image and that doesn't work, tried .jpg too and that still distorts.

having problems with this one. it's 170px wide and one 96kb. Still got graphic distortion, HELP!

I see it as 114px × 170px (scaled to 170px × 254px).

There ya go then Jack Heron has nailed it. Your height is 170px not your width. Make your width 170 and all should be fine.

ah i don't get it. The file i have is 170 width, then when i upload it, it changes the dimensions? Ah well fuck it! Attached is my image before uploading....
