So, Nobody Famous, what's it like in Flowery Branch?
It is small county with not a thing to do. I suppose that is a good thing as well b/c all I did was sit in my parents basement and make music all the time, which eventually landed me in LA, so I can't complain.
Describe your music to us in three words.
Damn, that's refreshing!
What do you think meant more to you - giving your CD to Kanye West and having him speak to you as a real person, or URB magazine naming you in their top 1,000 to watch?
URB for sure because I ended up going from the Next 1000 online, to the Next 100 in the actual magazine to being on of the 4 artist on the NEXT 100 channel on Flow TV which was On Demand nationwide.
How did your strong musical connection with Athens begin?
I got on myspace and hit up everyone in the scene and told them to "get down or lay down"

, I am kidding. Although I did hit up everyone on myspace and tried to connect with them, and my friend was also a DJ at one of the clubs out there and knew everyone, so he introduced me to people, started me off with a show at Hip-Hop Homecoming Week, then a month or so later I won a couple of beat battles and the name just started to spread.
You have described your creative process as "jumpin' off with a monster, some sunflower seeds and some little snacks". What on earth is a 'monster' and what are your favourite creativity-inducing snacks?
The Monster I an referring to is the Monster Energy drinks. I have recently cut back on my snacking lately though, I usually will just have an energy drink and get to work.
Who would you most like to be interviewed by? (apart from me, of course!)
Dangerous Lee from the Ask Dangerous Lee show (
Ask Dangerous Lee Live) I been on her blog talk radio show a couple of times and we go back a few years, be sure you all check her out!
How long have you been working as a child counselor and what does that entail?
I actually don't do the work anymore, but I did it for about 4 years off and on. I did everything from work summer camps to run an after school program at an elementary school, and the work entailed EVERYTHING. Anytime you are working with 5-14 years olds you should just expect the unexpected.
Aside from your musical life, what is your biggest personal ambition?
I have three businesses I want to successfully run, so that is what I am working on every day!
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I could never really choose, but if I was forced too I would say N*E*R*D "In Search Of..." because it was a very memorable album (plus every song is good) and it came out at a very memorable time in my life during my freshman year in college.
What album or song do you most wish you had written?
This song called "Pressure" by this dude Nobody Famous...oh, wait, I did write that song!
Are you single? (because, let's face it, you are kinda cute and I know the single laydeez out there are going to want to know!)
Nope, I am not single, I have a beautiful woman who has been there when I was up and down, and she can cook, hmmm!
