DJn, gigs, music, books, backcombed hair, afterparties, skinny jeans, festivals, writing lists, drinking copious amounts of green tea, ebay, japanese food, smokey eyes (that you can wake up in and it still looks good), quirky indie fil-lums that make you feel good, UK size 4 petite or small vintage things, generally having fun and dressing up (or down according to some), getting bad punk tattoos, anecdotes, adventures.
Music:
Dinosaur Jr, Los Campesinos!, Johnny Foreigner, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Kids in Glass Houses, Counting Crows, We Are Scientists, The Lemonheads, Soko, Dogs, The Shins, Jack Penate, Kings of Leon.. and some populist indie and emo crap like the cribs, libertines, cute is what we aim for, Jimmy eat world, blah blah. Definately not pigeon detectives, or any "New Rock", whatever that means.
Last night I dreamt someone had played Elliot Smith and it was really nice.
Movies / TV:
Neighbours and Home and Away, any rubbish american reality tv like the hills, laguna beach and Fashionista diaries.
Film wise: Eternal Sunshine, Smithereens, Clueless, Reality Bites, Nightmare on Elm st 1, 80's and indie films, horrors and gore.
Books:
Most things by Charles Bukowski, especially Women and Ham on Rye. Anything with magical realism.
