AURAL CAVITY SEARCH
Just when you thought it was safe to go into the Cave again Sykotyk Rampage opens hunting season on your Aural Cavity! The crowd mingled through the opening act like lost sheep, expecting the usual fare. But not when Sykotyk Rampage took the stage...it was an explosive night from the members of the Rampaging trio. The explosion of sound numbed us. We could only stand in awe as the stage igniting into a blare of electronica....the lighting was dim till almost black and we couldn't tell if it was the original line-up till the true piercing driving of rock chords thumped into our skulls from Nipples ...the stage erupted into a blinding gobo of light. Then pouncing like a sky diver to his death, Breast Munchie's drums picked up the rhythm sheeting us through a torrential rain of beats. Screams from oblivion echoed out of the PA.... a new tune was born. Princess White Jimmy punked into an air raid of mass reverb ...I was not disappointed by the new sound of the sykotyk trio. Alternative Rock done by masters of the sound wave. "Paint By Numbers" by Sykotyk Rampage is the most influential new music to hit society! If you need to be engulfed by sound this is the band to do IT! Timmy Tinhead

SYKOTYK RAMPAGE's Interests:
General:
A kick in the teeth can be a good thing.
Like blood frothing and pooling in a seething mass slaughter, lucky patrons at the URB campus club "Hip Waders" raged along with Sykotyk Rampage. The cacophony of music that the 3 piece created was pure sweet orchestration. This live show was also being recorded for a new release sometime this spring which will follow their 2 new studio albums; I Am God and Urges For Green slated for March and April release. Prolific does not even describe the output from Sykotyk Rampage. I have been following their rise and their work only gets better and faster, faster that is in the amount of music they are able to create. Unhindered by the “music industry game” and uninhibited by notions of “this is how music is created and sounds” these maestros of innovation are peeling the layers of creative genius to its ultimate foundation. Catch them again live at the PIT for the winter concert fest RONSOO.

We make it up as we go along, music, lyrics from the top of our heads hence the brain tumour, record it as we play, move on to another environ-mental song. So as you can tell rehearsals are out just cuts into beer drinking... ...well actually we drink as we jam - ask questions later.
So we really view this as therapy, which generally anyone can make music ...it's more for entertainment or breaking glass or scaring cats away or killing weeds or melting snow (which we get to much of) or getting out of the house and an excuse to drink beer.
Members were mothered by a blue dog with three heads.

It all started long, long ago...........
(this is where the fog and whirly shapes come in- kind of like a dream segue)
In the 70's, sitting around doing what all teens do -even now- the members of R.F.R. were lost in their snow tunnels that they had just finished digging, -in their parents front yard.The tunnels were a place to hide and drink their magnum of bubble wine -Baby Duck, and it tasted like that too. With no power yet installed -that came later-music was needed to cover the sound of inhalement and abberrant conversation so the gathering members broke out into song and merriment.
From that day forward a great tradition and many more gatherings were held to sing, play instruments and create music. Eventually members found a person with a P.A. and a chainsaw Tada- Psycho's Slave Den -
In the 70's Psyco became synonymous with the introduction of the chainsaw to music and cooking. Then the 80's came and a great load of music was recorded. 46 CD's to date! the Members come and go but something's always stay the same.
