right, im new to this game - getting to grips with everything and browsing the various altsounds...

Im keen to expand my musical knowledge and basically would love to find out which bands/artists/dj's are making people's knees weak - Im always up for finding new sounds so if theres someone or something out there that you think I should listen to - please send me a link or gimme a name....

i like chilled out or dancey indie/ rock. hip hop/ breaks/ electronic anything with a nice sound

Death Cab are ok but abit rich kid music. The Postal Service were better, i think its the same lead singer or something?

Postal service are good - although i prefer get cape wear cape fly. I don't usually listen to those kinda bands but im always open to suggestion.

Any chance of a definition of rich kid music? and maybe if possible a link between the postal service and get cape wear cape fly? yeah the lead singer of death cab is ben gibbard who is also lead vocals in the postal service, who boasts a backing singer called jenny lewis who is the lead singer of rilo kiley and is friends with connor oberst of bright eyes fame........ the list goes on!! if you like this kinda stuff, have a listen to 'handle with care' by jenny lewis from Rabbit Fur Coat. It's a cover of an old song which features all three!!
