Anyone heard of this or even a member already?

I just signed up (oddly someone already had the usernames 'Heron', 'Heron@altsounds.com' and 'Mike@altsounds.com')

Basically it lets you listen to music instantly, rather than download it, a bit like Myspace but easier to navigate. You can make playlists for your friends to listen to, and they can do the same back etc.

It's totally free Chris. I only found out about it yesterday on Drowned in Sound. Everybody there seems to be going mad for it.

It certainly seems pretty cool, and very easy to use from the little play I have had so far.

Strange though that because I got in without an invitation. I am still puzzled by those usernames being taken. Let me know how you get on by trying Chris@altsounds.com etc.

The username is supposed to be just that. No @ needed. This thing is pretty darn good man. It is like a jukebox for your house that has almost every song you could ever want. Sweet find Heron.
