I'd like to start you off by mentioning the sample picture of Ted Nugent's Cat Scratch Fever because it made me laugh when I first saw it as the vinyl opens up to reveal his bear chest and some very 80's nails ripping through is skin.
Also, how could I not mention Elvis's Golden Records vinyl - just because it's classic. Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffitti because of the spinning artwork and Beastie Boys 'Hello Nasty'.

I dunno though, photoshop is getting easier and quicker to apply amazing effects. I think one of the most boring and simple covers was Coldplay X&Y album.
