Scotland’s hottest band release homecoming gig material on new music video platform

To coincide with the re-release of their stunning single ‘Daddy’s Gone’ on Monday 25th August, the highly-acclaimed Glasvegas are making a previously unseen video clip available for fans to view at MUZU TV - Bands, festivals, venues and fans Broadcast your Music TV on the web.

Recorded at their recent homecoming gig at Glasgow’s ABC2 on 20th June, the clip shows just why music-industry legend Alan McGee has hailed Glasvegas as “the best Scottish band for 20 years”. Managing to convey the intimate buzz of the gig while also feeling epic and legendary, the live footage marks the moment Glasvegas crossed the line from stars-in-the-making to legends in their own right. The crowd sing-along towards the end of the song is a sure sign of things to come – as their fame grows, so will the venues, and watching this footage it’s not hard to imagine arenas and headline festival performances in their future.

The premiere of the clip on MUZU TV marks the beginning of a bold new partnership between the video platform and industry giant Sony BMG that is set to see regular exclusive content for both new and established artists showcased in custom artist ‘channels’. Other Sony BMG artists currently enjoying promotion on MUZU TV include Calvin Harris, Jordin Sparks and The Ting Tings.

On MUZU TV, fans can create a personalised Music TV channel to share with friends and embed on their social networking sites. They can also interact with artists and other fans, as well as discover and share music, all legally and at no cost.
