The Chemists video NEW SINGLE SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND RELEASED SEPTEMBER 15TH VIA DISTILLER RECORDS The track is taken from their debut album that will be released early next year. The band are from Bristol and have already supported The Bluetones, The Crimea and The Delays on tour this year. The band cites their musical influences as, Queens of the Stone Age, The Pixies, The Police and Doves, amongst others. The Chemists are Johnny Benn (Vocals), Sam James (Lead Guitar), Wayne Jones (Bass), Dave Betts (Rhythm Guitar) and Matt Albon (Drums). The band moniker originates from the fact they once all lived above a chemist in their local high street, where they also rehearsed as well. In keeping with the song title and its meaning, the single artwork features an image of a well known barbers shop in West London, where one can be folically attended while purchasing more than the usual shampoo, gel and conditioners! The band will be heading out on tour in September before taking in three dates in Germany.
