Last summer, Altsounds reported about Akon throwing a fan off stage and into a crowd of people during one of his concerts. Today, Akon (Aliaune Thiam), appeared in court briefly to ask for a jury trial. He pleaded not guilty back in December on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree harassment. He will return to court for trial in this case December 1 unless an agreement is reached between parties.
