Jonezetta are gearing up to release their sophomore studio album, Cruel To Be Young, out September 16th on Tooth & Nail and are announcing tour dates with the Los Angeles acclaimed electronic/indie rock band, Shiny Toy Guns. The tour kicks-off September 22nd in Denver, Colorado right after they wrap their tour with Straylight Run and Band Marino.

A departure from songwriting tactics used on their prior releases, the band tried to keep it simple as far as the technology available to them. “It was a whole new approach with this record because the songs are shaped more so you have to hear the entire album before making conclusions. I think America has such bad ADD these days when it comes to art and entertainment and attention spans have gone down to zero. This record was an attempt to give the feeling I had growing up listening to an album until the music rubbed off the disc. Making an honest connection with it,” says singer Robert Chisolm. Armed with a fresh start and clean slate, Cruel To Be Young, is the natural evolution from their prior album.
