Currently recording the eagerly anticipated follow-up to their all-conquering debut album Well Live and Die in These Towns, The Enemy have confirmed details of their biggest tour to date that concludes a night at Londons Brixton Academy. Taking place in spring 2009 it will precede the release of their second album.
Tickets for the dates will initially be solely available to people signed up to the bands mailing list at
The Enemy from September 16th-18th. As an added reward, fans who are signed to the mailing list and who buy tickets in that three-day window will receive some exclusive and previously unreleased live recordings. Any remaining tickets will then go on general sale from September 19th, priced at 20 for London and 18 for all regional shows.
Well Live and Die in These Towns hit the top of the album charts and was soon certified Platinum, ensuring The Enemys status as one of the UKs biggest bands in the process. They also earned a plethora of major awards including NME and Qs Best New Band and XFMs Best Debut Album. Having played at the Reading and Leeds festivals and the BBCs Electric Proms, they also headlined NMEs Rock & Roll Riot tour before heading to Japan for the first time. They also made history with two phenomenal homecoming shows at Coventrys Ricoh Arena.
