MUZU TV pays bands half the net revenue of all ad money generated from their videos. We serve display ads (like banners) on bands’ MUZU TV channels and ‘in-video’ adverts within their MUZU TV players, both on MUZU and when the player is embedded on external sites like MySpace, Facebook, Bebo or other external sites.
How MUZU TV Works for Bands
Register as a band on www.MUZU.tv and:
·Upload all your band’s videos, MP3’s, images and profile to your personal MUZU TV channel
·Design Your MUZU Channel using MUZU TV’s easy to use drag-and-drop interface
·Create playlists featuring your videos. You can make money on all types of music related videos from interviews and back-stage footage, to live concerts and official music videos
·Invite your fans to upload footage they have shot to your Fan TV section – which you can also make money on!
·Embed Your MUZU TV Player on My Space, Bebo, Facebook and your own website using the simple embed code available in your player
·Get paid
Any band signed, or unsigned can create their own branded music TV channel on MUZU TV, featuring multiple video playlists, along with a personalised profile, messaging and fans or friends section. Bands can also embed their MUZU TV player (with all their video playlists) on their own sites and social networking pages. Whenever they update the playlists on their MUZU TV channel, those changes will automatically be reflected in the embedded players they have on other websites. This means bands can now distribute their content to multiple sites in one go, without having to update each specific site individually.
On MUZU TV bands always retain the rights over their video content and get paid royalties as normal through MUZU TV’s agreement with the collection societies. Also, as bands sign a non-exclusive agreement with MUZU TV, they can do deals with any other company without any restrictions. Bands also retain full control over their video as they decide what goes live and can add or remove any of their videos whenever they feel like it.
