Larsen & Furious Jane formed in 2002 by friends Torsten Larsen and Tore Johansen because the latter had a microphone, a computer and a room and was able to help the former record a few songs.
The two recorded a CD-R debut album that doesn't really count, but got them signed to Morningside Records. They have since released 3 critically acclaimed albums, including the current release Zen Sucker, their darkest collection of songs to date.
