After practically years of conversations - it seemed time to make the unofficial news official!
Hexes have spent the last 12 months touring the UK with the likes of The Ghost Of A Thousand, Gallows, The Plight and Cancer Bats as well as opening the Lock Up Stage at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals over the Summer.
At the end of August the quartet entered Outhouse Studios in Reading with John Mitchell (Architects, Enter Shikari, Dead Swans) to record their blistering debut album. Entitled 'White Noise / Black Sound' - the end result is 12 tracks of snotty, vitriolic and yet infectious punk rock! Punkrock has just redefined itself again!
The album is set for a February 2009 release - but Undergroove will be releasing a single to coincide with the band's forthcoming shows with the mighty Bronx in October. The single will be limited to 500 copies and feature album track 'Eyes Like Knives' and additionally two EXCLUSIVE tracks - namely 'Pissholes In The Snow' and a cover of Death From Above' 1979's 'Blood On Our Hands'. It will also be released digitally worldwide.
With more tours this side of Christmas also planned and an appearance at this year's Hard Rock Hell Festival in December - it's exciting times ahead!
