Altsounds - FIELDS - NEW SINGLE AND UK TOUR IN NOVEMBER

Fields release their new single ‘Are You Ready Yet?’on December 1 through Atlantic Records. It is the first single to be taken from the band’s forthcoming sophomore album Hollow Mountains, which isset for release in March 2009.

After stretching their touring legs at a run of festival performances over the summer and a sold-out one-off London appearance, the band have also announced a warm-up club tour of the UK for November – full dates are below. Having honed their live show sharing stages with the likes of Bloc Party, Mystery Jets, Editors and Wolfmother, Fields are a live band not to be missed.

Hollow Mountains is the much-anticipated follow-up to the Anglo/ Icelandic quartet’s 2007 debut Everything Last Winter. Produced by band’s own Nick Peill and mixed by Chris Zane (Les Savy Fav, The Walkmen), the album’s first single ‘Are You Ready Yet?’ is a fitting testimony to Fields’ anthemic guitar harmony-pop sensibilities.
