EASTPAK, one of the world’s most popular street fashion brands, famed for their tough backpacks and luggage, announces the latest edition of its innovative international music tour. The EASTPAK ANTIDOTE TOUR is headlined this year by Flogging Molly, whose current album ‘Float’ debuted in the US Billboard Hot 100 at No.4 recently, and at No.1 on the US Billboard Independent Chart. Known for their spirited music, rousing anthems and energetic stage shows, Flogging Molly have built a huge live following around the world, and they have been working with EASTPAK for the past 3 years, since making an appearance on the first ever EASTPAK ANTIDOTE TOUR in 2005. As well as headlining this year’s EASTPAK ANTIDOTE TOUR, the band will also have a signature bag out in stores world-wide to coincide with the tour. The bags are strictly limited edition and available via the best EASTPAK retailers worldwide from September.

The Eastpak Antidote Tour is a live musical experience that has been set up to bring audiences some of the most exciting and relevant ‘real’ music around to countries across the world. We aim to deliver a high quality and memorable musical experience in a selection of the best venues – those that are intimate enough for the audience to really feel like part of the gig. Eastpak supports bands locally in every territory in which it is active, as well as others on an international level. Eastpak is known for its dedication to supporting the music scene and has collaborated with individuals, bands, festivals and gigs large and small all over the globe, all of which have had the same ‘Built to Resist’, ‘never-give-up’ philosophy of the brand. The Eastpak Antidote Tour builds on the musical heritage of EASTPAK and gives the audience a taste of different musical styles each year. Thanks to the labels, bands, artists and management that have participated in the tour to date and to those that continue to work with EASTPAK as the years pass.
The ‘Pimp My Pak’ competition is Eastpak’s challenge to concert-goers to test their creativity to the max. At each date of the UK leg of the Eastpak Antidote Tour, fans are being encouraged to bring along their very own customized Eastpak backpacks. Eastpak are of course famed for their backpack design but they want to see what the British public can do to make them extra special. So, get out your sewing kit, paints and best artistic imagination to the ready and have a go at making your own backpack stand out amongst the crowd. At each date, special Eastpak representatives will be keeping an eagle eye out for those who’ve made the most effort and they’ll pick one very lucky winner who’ll receive assorted goodies from Eastpak and the bands involved as well as the chance to meet and get their picture taken with Flogging Molly and Street Dogs after the show! What more could you want?
Another exciting opportunity brought to you by Eastpak is going to be a special appearance of Flogging Molly at the London Eastpak Store (1 Carnaby Street) between 5pm and 6pm on 5th November. Get down early to guarantee entry as the band will be signing as much as they can before the show at the Astoria.
