Glasgow’s Attic Lights have announced details of the release of a new single. Late Night Sunshine, a joyful rush of pure pop harmonies, will be released through Island Records on Monday December 8th 2008.
Lifted from their debut album, Friday Night Lights, which was released in September of this year to rave reviews, Late Night Sunshine features the vocal talents of Colin McArdle of the band.
The band, who have toured extensively throughout 2008, and who are currently on tour with Paul Heaton, have a number of shows before the end of 2008. The full list of shows, including some headline slots calling in at some of the more remote corners of the Scottish highlands & islands and a slot on Glasgow versus cancer charity concert alongside Travis and The Fratellis, are as follows:

In further Attic’s news, the band have been confirmed to record the new theme song for a legendary TV show which returns in early 2009 – more details to follow. Also, they are currently recording a charity Christmas EP – again details of the EP will be announced shortly.
