Altsounds - Speed Circus...New Release & On Tour w/The Rifles

Speed Circus release their debut EP, Rosie, on the 15th December 2008.

SPEED CIRCUS are a North London 7 piece of inner city lads playing a lively mash-up of rock'n'roll, ska, reggae, punk and 60s Rhythm & Blues.

The band play with an energy that sets them apart from their contemporaries with chopping guitars( Russ Ashford, Ben Deboo), rolling basslines(Bobby Kane), smashing drums (Chris Mardon) and swirling melodies from their man on the keys (Andrew Hillier). Front man Tom Rowlett commands the chaos behind him with support from the bands own enigmatic Dub man Varez White.

Having already supported Madness, the band are about to embark on a UK tour supporting The Rifles.

Early support for the band comes from Gary Crowley, Alan McGee, and the NME. Speed Circus are previous winners of Song of the Week on Xfm.
