New drummer replaces Rich Mitchell
British band DOGS announced yesterday that Paul Warren would be replacing previous drummer Rich Mitchell after he left the band two weeks ago.
On the bands' MySpace, they wrote:
"Two weeks ago Rich left the band. He felt he had to pursue some other things in his life and we wish him well. However, end of an era start of a new eh. We've spent the past fortnight auditioning drummers and we've found what we're looking for with the very last fella to walk in. His name is Paul Warren and he's an Amazing drummer and a thoroughly top bloke, we feel he's one of us already. He'll be making his debut with us on 20th dec at Islington Academy for the homecoming. Fuckin hell eh. Great things are gonna happen and we're writing the new record with more inspiration than ever. Thanks, now get on with your dinner. Dogs. X"
Dogs will be playing "Christmas Gig Extravaganza" at the Islington academy on the 20th December along with The Rascals, their only scheduled show for the remainder of this year.
