On Thursday the largest P2P related blog on the web, Torrentfreak.com published an article/interview about CXCR6, highlighting our use of the bittorrent protocol to distribute our releases. No longer just a domain for piracy, torrents have become a fast, easy and free way to distribute music releases to the public at large, as well as a great way to get unheard-of artists found. CXCR6 is at the forefront of this, making our releases available across multiple torrent trackers including dedicated distribution channels like the Mininova.org 'Content Distribution' program.

The article also got to the frontpage of immensely popular social news site Digg.com, resulting in huge download numbers for all of our artists. After only being up-and-running for just over a month, CXCR6 has already had over 5,000 downloads of it's releases, even with 2 of the releases being less than a week old.
