The MuseBox is pleased to present Dylan Connor's NEW Video and recent album release. The video for "Breakaway and Burn" is based upon Dylan's own personal experiences and revelations at the Burning Man Festival. Many of the shots and footage in the video are actual archive from the week he spent in the desert!
Now that the New Year is off and running (and colder than usual), its nice
to know that Dylan Connor is just warming up! Dylan Connor will be releasing the much-anticipated album, "Breakaway Republic", this month! A string of upcoming live shows will lead into a full fledged tour in February and eventually over to the Middle-East come summertime - all in support of
Dylan's new album.
In San Francisco, Dylan played with a Band called M Headphone, and recently relocated back to his roots on the East Coast. Having grown up in
Connecticut, Dylan was surrounded by Musical mentors such as Ozzie Osbourne, Peter Frampton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ginger Baker, to name a few.
The album itself is an array of indie focused pop-rock songs under the
direction of producer Bryce Goggin (The Lemonheads, Phish, Apples in Stereo and Nada Surf).
Like the Video, the songs on the album and the title itself were derived
from Dylan's experience at The Burning Man Festival years ago (where Breakaway Republic was the name of his "camp").
