DEBUT UK SHOWS WITH KATY PERRY FEBRUARY 2009

“3OH!3 mix up block-rocking beats, hip-hop trash talk and pop hooks” Rolling Stone
Artists To Watch for 2009

You don’t get more gangsta than Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte – two natives of Boulder, Colorado, the nation’s capital of hippies, hempwear and Hummers. They first connected when they discovered they had a mutual man-crush on Buck 65 in their University of Colorado physics class, 3OH!3 have been packing out clubs with their hip-hop hardness, electro eroticism and 80s pop pabulum. Imagine JJ Fad getting down with Justice, or DMX getting all Depeche Mode on you, and you might have a clue of the kind of sonic blasphemy 3OH!3 is bringing.
Their Photo Finish/Atlantic records debut ‘WANT’ – which will be out in the UK later this year, was produced by Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, Boys Like Girls). ‘WANT’ sees beatmaster Nathaniel Motte and MC Sean Foreman unleashing tongue-in-cheek rhymes and beats that incorporate ‘80s pop, electronica, and crunk hip-hop to deliver a knockout punch. The album is highlighted by the lead single, “Don’t Trust Me” – co-produced by Squire and up-and-coming hitmaker Benny Blanco (Spank Rock & Katy Perry). The single sold over 400K in the states making it a crossover smash. The album itself has done just shy of 100K, as well as selling over 820K individual album tracks.

The duo’s explosive live show, spiked with synchronised dance moves – whip crowds into a gang-sign-throwing, finger-licking frenzy- while the boys keep their tongues buried deep in their cheeks. This has earned them opening slots for artists as diverse as The Faint, Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Warped Tour.
