CHIODOS- UK release & live shows

RELEASED 26TH JANUARY ON WARNER BROS. RECORDS

UK TOUR DATES IN FEBRUARY

Michigan sextet Chiodos already have a Billboard Top 5 album and 200,000 Stateside sales to their name with their second album ‘Bone Palace Ballet’. Released in North America by indie label Equal Vision, ‘Bone Palace Ballet’ receives a UK release on January 26th as part of a new deal with Warner Bros. Records.

Seamlessly combining elements of progressive rock, hardcore and hard-edged emo with an ability to craft an immediate pop hook, ‘Bone Palace Ballet’ demonstrates the visceral energy and tightly-honed musicianship that has made Chiodos such a huge proposition in the States. The album’s highlights include ‘The Undertaker’s Thirst For Revenge is Unquenchable’ that swings from crunching riffs to a soaring chorus with evocative piano supplemented by cinematic beats, a combination of stomping piano-rock and progressive elements alongside an inspiring solo on ‘Lexington’ and Craig Owen’s eclectic vocal range on the cabaret-tinged ‘Is It Progression If A Cannibal Uses A Fork?’

Elsewhere, the band’s unquestionable range extends from the crushing ‘Teeth The Size Of Piano Keys’ to the melodically focused ‘A Letter From Janelle’. The UK release features a bonus track in the shape of an acoustic version of ‘A Letter From Janelle’ as well as an extra special DVD featuring 6 'behind the scenes' videos, 2 live videos from the Warped Tour, plus the video for Lexington (Joey Pea-Pot With A Monkey Face), all exclusive to the UK!

Chiodos released their debut album ‘All’s Well That Ends Well’ in 2005 that went on to sell over 200,000 copies and paved the way for the success of ‘Bone Palace Ballet’. They have embarked upon a major arena tour with Linkin Park and have also played the Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour and the Alternative Press Invisible Sideshow tour. One of their most notable UK gigs to date was storming the main stage of the 2008 Give It A Name festival.
