CRUSHING PACKAGE TOUR TO HIT U.K
The THRASH & BURN Tour will make its UK and European debut this spring.
Presented by Imperial Clothing and put together by Outerloop Management in conjunction with Avocado Booking - the agency behind 2008’s killer road packages Summmer Slaughter and Never Say Die – Thrash & Burn debuted to Stateside audiences last summer with overwhelming success, and this May it will steamroller onto UK shores.
Co-headlined by Washington D.C thrashers DARKEST HOUR and Californian metalcore crew BLEEDING THROUGH, the Thrash & Burn European tour aims to give the underground metal fan a diverse package of today’s most relevant bands at an affordable price.
Joining Darkest Hour and Bleeding Through on the package are French-Canadian tech-death monsters Beneath the Massacre, San Diego deathcore stompers Carnifex, German hardcore experi-mentalists War From a Harlot’s Mouth, as well as Arsonists Get All the Girls and Success Will Write Apocalypse Across The Sky.
The dates are:
UK Norwich @ Waterfront
11.05.2009 UK London @ The Electric Ballroom
12.05.2009 UK Sheffield @ Corporation
13.05.2009 UK Yeovil @ Westland
14.05.2009 UK Leeds @ Rios
15.05.2009 UK Birmingham @ Academy
Thrash & Burn will mark Darkest Hour’s first UK trek since their September ’07 tour with As I Lay Dying, and D.C quintet cannot wait. “Darkest Hour is excited to co-headline this year’s inaugural Thrash & Burn European Tour,” says guitarist Mike Schleibaum. “Touring with younger bands has always been something we have been about. It's a good way to keep metal evolving and progressing. We are stoked to be able to tour along with good friends Bleeding Through and of course we look forward to hanging and partying with all of our older European friends and the new friends we will soon make!”
Bleeding Through, returning to the UK hot on the heels of their October ’08 run with Bullet For My Valentine, echo Darkest Hour’s sentiments. "We are really happy to be returning to Europe and co-headlining with our friends in Darkest Hour on this excellent tour,” said frontman Brandan Schieppati. “We think the tour line-up will blow people away!”
