The Answering Machine are a Manchester-based four-piece who have spent much of 2008 holed-up in North Yorkshire working on their debut album with god-like Manic Street Preacher's producer Dave Eringa. The album is now finished and is scheduled in for release in Spring 2009. It sounds awesome – really infectious art-pop with a proper big sound.
The band are heading out on a couple of tours over the coming couple of months. Would be ace if you’d fancy popping along to one of the shows/ sending along a freelancer to get the lowdown. I’ve popped the full list of dates below.
