Robert Plant Gets Big Boost from Grammys
 

I didn't know people still watched the Grammys. I never do. Despite the award show's perceived irrelevance, performing on the show can still help your career. All artists who performed at this years Grammy Awards saw a boost in sales, but none moreso than Robert Plant and Allison Krauss. The duo performed their Bluegrass collaboration, Raising Sand, and won 5 awards including Album of the Year. The album shot back up to #2 on the Billboard charts following the performance, selling more than 76 thousand copies just last week. Raising Sand also topped Amazon's music list following the wins and climbed back into the top 5 on iTunes, as well.
