I am very excited to announce brand new music from Hungry Villagers. Their music is an intriguing blend of full and addictive beats that meld with the melodies of two guitars strumming in harmony. The voices of the Brothers Houck quickly follow suit, weaving a blanket of sound that lulls audiences into a near hypnotic state - swaying and singing. Mysterious, meaningful lyrics compel listeners to happily follow the Hungry Villagers wherever they may lead.

It’s no mistake that Jacob, Abraham and David Houck of the Hungry Villagers can have this affect on music lovers. The brothers’ lives have been fully saturated with music, starting in South Africa as children, when their parents preached and played gospel music to the local villages. Thus the Villagers were born, and now with the rhythmic backbone added by drummer Ferrick Hallaron IV, the band is complete.

a band from their name. You never know it might be your new favourite
