Of Montreal has announced a brand new Shepherd’s Bush Empire show in July plus a string of UK festival appearances. Athens Georgia’s finest are now playing Shepherd’s Bush Empire on the 14th July. Tickets are on sale from, www.seetickets.com, and details of the support acts are yet to be confirmed.
Festivals-wise, Of Montreal are also set to play Oxegen and T In The Park over the weekend of the 10 – 12th July. Tickets go on sale for Oxegen are onsale now, whereas T In The Park tickets are already selling fast.
Of Montreal have recently completed a full European tour to promote latest single ‘An Eluardian Instance’ taken from their recently acclaimed ninth album ‘Skeletal Lamping’. The psych pop quintet are renowned for putting on an outrageous stage show, something that they’ve taken to a whole new level with the dancing golden Buddhas and orgiastic satyrs of the Skeletal Lamping tour performances. Frontman Kevin Barnes appearance on top of a white horse at New York’s Roseland Ballroom last Autumn is now approaching legendary status too (pictured above).
