LA disco punks The Mae Shi have announced their plans to takeover SXSW this year and will be playing no less than 15 shows at the Austin TX festival next week.
The Mae Shi recently hit the headlines due to their timely tribute to Christian Bale ‘R U Professional’, written in defence of the troubled Hollywood star. Currently working on the follow-up to 2008’s universally-lauded album ‘HLLLYH’, The Mae Shi are set to bring their alt dance party to European shores in May, full details of this tour are to be announced soon.
