Brooklyn dream pop favourites School Of Seven Bells have announced details of their SXSW shows, alongside label mates White Denim and Micah P Hinson. All three will play on the same bill on Friday 20th March at Red Room Patio as part of an official SXSW showcase hosted by their UK label Full Time Hobby in conjunction with Ghostly International and Mojo. All the aforementioned bands have spectacular live shows: School Of Seven Bells are about to complete their debut 4 week tour in Europe, playing to packed out venues throughout to promote their first album ‘Alpinisms’.
Austin’s own White Denim were the toast of SXSW 2008 and went on to wow audiences on both sides of the Atlantic with their energetic noughties take on psych garage rock from album ‘Workout Holiday’.
Also a former resident of Austin TX, Micah P Hinson brings his alt country torch songs to life on stage with great intensity, shaking and quaking through a back catalogue of three albums, most notably the recently acclaimed ‘And The Red Empire Orchestra’.
